A. Eugene Montgomery, III

Graduate of the University of Mississippi in 1978 with a B.A. in English.
In April 1994, Montgomery Insurance Agency, Inc. and Troy & Nichols Insurance Agency, Inc. joined forces to form Troy & Montgomery Insurance where Eugene served on the Board of Directors and was elected President in January 2000. In January 2005, Community Financial purchased the assets of Troy & Montgomery and Eugene was named President/CEO of Community Financial and continues in his present position. Eugene currently serves as a Director of the Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.


 

Jeffrey Perry Mouk

Graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1977 with a major in Economics & Finance.
In the mid 1980s, Jeffrey became Accounting Manager, Automation Manager and Treasurer of McKenzie & Mouk, Inc. In the early 1990s, he was elected to the Board of Directors and became the Chief Operating Officer, a position he held until the agency was sold to Troy & Montgomery Insurance. At Troy & Montgomery, Jeffrey became a Senior Vice President in charge of Accounting, Automation and Operations, a position he held until the agency was sold to Community Financial. Jeffrey currently holds the title of Chief Financial Officer.


 

Kristy S. Golson

Graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1988 with a B.B.A. in Finance/Commercial Banking.
Kristy began her insurance career in 1990 with State Farm Insurance as a Health Claims Examiner. In 1995, she became a Personal Lines Underwriter and in 1997 was promoted to Personal Lines Supervisor, a position she held until 2004 when State Farm announced the closure of the Monroe Regional Office. In May 2004, Kristy had the opportunity to work for America First Insurance, a regional agency market for Liberty Mutual, as a Commercial Lines Team Leader. She resigned from America First Insurance in February 2006 to become the Chief Human Resources Officer for Community Financial. In December 2007, Kristy moved to her present position as Chief Underwriting Officer.  Kristy also oversees the Life and Health Division.


 

Darryl L. Minter

Graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1985 with a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems.
Darryl began his computer career during his senior year of college when he worked for Montgomery Insurance Agency as a Computer Technician and Accounting Assistant. In May 1985, Darryl went to work for Applied Systems and served the next 19 years in various sales capacities and territories. In August 2005, Darryl came full circle and again went to work for A. Eugene Montgomery, III, where he was hired as IT & Training Director for Community Financial. Darryl currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Community Financial.


 

Kathy P. Smith

Kathy began her insurance career in 1976 as a processor/file clerk with Troy & Nichols Insurance Agency and moved up through the ranks as a Personal Lines CSR and Personal Lines Manager. In 1994, the agency was sold to Troy & Montgomery Insurance Agency. Kathy became a shareholder and held the position of Senior Vice President managing the Servicing Department for Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. In 2005, the agency was sold to Community Financial and Kathy remained on the management team to become Senior Vice President of Customer Service. In December 2007, Kathy became the Chief Compliance Officer and oversees Licensing, Training, Compliance and Auditing for Community Financial.

Jeanette Credo has over 35 years of experience in the Insurance and Financial Services industries. She is responsible for securing new and retaining existing financial institution accounts. Credo was previously Assistant Vice President with Zurich North America Financial Enterprises where she developed and managed strategic relationships with emphasis on sales of Financial Enterprises products to distributors, banking associations and financial institution customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas and Kentucky. Prior to that, Credo was a Financial Services Executive with Zurich, where she established strong market presence for the company in Louisiana by aggressively pursuing new business opportunities, practicing customer-focused relationship management and actively participating in the Louisiana Bankers Association (LBA). She has also worked as a Property and Casualty Underwriter for Fidelity and Deposit Company, and Crum and Forster in Metairie, Louisiana.

In 1989, Deena began her insurance career at State Farm Insurance and held positions as an Auto Underwriter, Operations Training Administrator, Auto Underwriting Supervisor and Senior Systems Coordinator, a position she held until 2005 when State Farm closed the Monroe Regional Office. In 2006, Deena went to work at Monogram Central, Inc. as a Manager. In March 2008, Deena joined Community Financial as the Human Resources & Communications Manager.


 

Fran Turpin

In 1994, Fran went to work for Central Bank in Monroe as a Retail Customer Service Representative. In 1997, Fran joined State Farm Insurance as an Auto Underwriter with promotions to Auto Underwriting Supervisor and Auto Underwriting Team Leader. Fran held the position of Auto Underwriting Team Leader until State Farm closed the Monroe Regional Office in 2005. She then became the Marketing Director and Project Coordinator for Central American Life Insurance Company and Kilpatrick Funeral Homes. In February 2008, Fran joined Community Financial as the Business Development Coordinator and currently serves as the Bank Agency Sales Manager.

Teresa began her insurance career in 1981 with State Farm Insurance in the Personal Lines Department. In 1995, Teresa obtained her degree in Accounting and was promoted to Personal Lines Underwriter. Teresa held the position of Personal Lines Underwriting Specialist until State Farm closed the Monroe Regional Office in 2005. In March 2006, Teresa joined Community Financial as the Marketing Manager and moved to her present position as Commercial Lines Manager in December 2007.

Theresa began her insurance career in 1978 with State Farm Insurance as a Billing Department Specialist and in 1990, she became the Billing Department Supervisor. In 1995, Theresa changed career paths and became an Agency Field Specialist for State Farm Insurance and in 2000 she became a State Farm Agent in Slidell, LA. In 2001, Theresa returned to Monroe as a Senior Auto Claims Representative and remained in that position until 2005 when State Farm closed the Monroe Regional Office. In April 2005, Theresa joined Community Financial as a Personal Lines Producer and moved to her most recent position as Personal Lines Manager in December 2007.

 

 

Alissa N. Stevens

Alissa began her accounting career in 2003 as an Accounting Manager at Central Oil & Supply. In February 2005, Alissa joined Community Financial as an Operations, Compliance & Controls Coordinator. In December 2007 Alissa moved to her present position as Accounting Manager. Alissa also serves as Secretary to the Community Financial Board of Directors.
