Graduate of the University of Mississippi in 1978 with a B.A. in English.
In April 1994, Montgomery Insurance Agency, Inc. and Troy & Nichols Insurance Agency, Inc. joined forces to form Troy & Montgomery Insurance where Eugene served on the Board of Directors and was elected President in January 2000. In January 2005, Community Financial purchased the assets of Troy & Montgomery and Eugene was named President/CEO of Community Financial and continues in his present position. Eugene served as a former Director of the Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
